Service Desk Express 9.x: Using Crystal Reports

Course Description

In this 2-day course, you will learn to effectively use the Crystal Report Designer to generate reports on service desk activity. Students learn to design complex reports by working with fields and formulas, grouping and sorting records and working with multiple tables.

Course Objectives

·  Create a basic report using the Crystal Reports Designer

·  Use and create formulas to manipulate data in reports

·  Format reports

·  Utilize the Crystal Reports Experts tool to create a report

·  Compile reports to an icon and distribute them to network users

·  Link multiple tables in a report

·  Utilize the Drill Down and Top/Bottom Groups query features to enhance reports

·  Include graphs in reports

Prerequisites

This course is designed for students who will be acting in the role of service desk manager or report writer. Students should possess the following prerequisite skills:

·  Completion of Using Service Desk Express Service Desk

·  Completion of Service Desk Express 9.x: Administering - Part 1 is recommended but not required
